Day 2 of who knows how many and we finally got some sun! Peaked it's gorgeous light around some clouds right around sunset. We had a riveting evening making chicken noodle soup and cleaning off the porch.
In all honesty, cleaning the porch was kind of a nice reminder that warmer times are coming, we're going to be able to enjoy some fresh air and everything will be alright. This time we're in is really heavy stuff. We are blessed to live in a place far from people and are able to get out and move around. I know not everyone is that lucky.
I have moments where I am so grateful for our space and others where I feel so deeply for those of you stuck in an apartment where you can't get out and move around without brushing shoulders with someone else. I am worried for our friends and families. I am worried about their small businesses. This is just a really heavy situation we are in.
I feel like most of my day is spent praying for the wellness of those closest to me and those less fortunate than me and in need of most help.
Anyways, let me get back to my porch cleaning :) on day 2 we got some fresh air and cleaned up our porch so we can have a fire and grill out when it gets warmer! If you know us, you might know we did some renovating recently and were finally ready to move the rest of our remaining equipment off our porch to it's rightful spot!
We're just ready for the rain to clear and for it to warm up so we can get ourselves outside enjoying! Keep your heads up, friends, this is really hard for everyone. Check on your people!
