It's Day 3 I think... I'm honestly loosing track. My mom brought my brother to the farm to fish and get out of the house and in some fresh air. I always knew living on a farm was special but it's in times like these I really have come to understand how absolutely healing they can be on the mind and spirit.
It was raining, of course, nothing new here - it's been raining since Monday with little sunshine. I think a little vitamin D would be good for our souls! Today I'm praying for sunshine. Anyways, we took a rainy walk down to the lake to see all the fish they caught. Took some time to play chess and strategy - y'all I'm really not good at board games and honestly I think I could be my brain just gets tired sometimes :)
So we hung out in the rain with my mom and brother and puppy, chatted about what's to come and then I picked some daffodils because everyone needs a good bouquet of flowers in their kitchen to bring the sunshine in the midst of all the rain! Also, my houseplants are giving me life like I never knew they could. I love watching them sprout new leaves and get bigger!
I repotted my small indoor tree (lost a branch of it in the process), potted an avocado tree I grew in my window and am preparing to repot another of my indoor trees this weekend likely. Anyways, stay tuned the Saturday and Sunday editions of this should be entertaining!
