With a soda on the side... (good ol' two thousands joke) :)
Here's the skinny, we need to EAT, and we need to be cooking things that are easy and filling. So here's another little recipe that's easy and made with things you might have in your cabinets.
There are several ways you can make this and I'll give you all scenarios below to make this easiest on you. If you want info on substitutions shoot me a message.
4 Servings - double if you would like it to last longer.
2lb of Chicken OR 4 cans of cooked chicken
1 cup Uncooked Noodles (any kind)
6 cups chicken broth or water
1tsp Garlic Powder
1tsp Onion Powder
1. Thaw chicken OR if you are using canned open them :)
2. Bring 6 cups of water to a boil, add chicken, garlic powder, and pepper and boil for 30-45 minutes - until internal temperature is 165. This will be your chicken broth. (See note if you have chicken broth already or if you're using canned chicken with chicken broth)
3. Remove chicken from water and add noodles to broth, boil for about 10 minutes.
4. Shred or chop chicken, however you prefer your chicken to be in your soup :)
Note: If you have chicken broth, you can bake your chicken and add it later. To bake chicken turn oven on to 400 and bake for 25-30 minutes - check temperature until it reaches 165. Then shred and add to soup. If you have broth already, bring to boil and add spices and noodles. Once chicken is baked shred or chop and add to soup.
